School and Sports in October 2021

Isabel ran cross country.  She did great and improved a lot.  It also cracked me up how she suddenly had friends in Star Valley and other places because she is so social with everyone.

This was from the reading party from reading over the summer.

Elena's locker was heart attacked (or ghost attacked) by her seminary teacher's wife and daughter because they felt bad because Elena was so sad about moving.  They had just moved to Evanston from Oklahoma and were super sad about being in Wyoming so they empathized a lot.
That was from a swim practice that they made for fun.
I only know that this is the right year because they're no longer wearing masks!! They're making the Eagles sign (Evanston Eagles) but I'm not sure what it was from.  It wasn't his class though, so I think it might have been like a kindness award that they picked a kid from each class.
Elena did swim team and was amazing about getting up and being at practice at 6 AM.  She did a ton of the really long races.  Crazy stamina!  She absolutely loved swim team though.

That was at her very last swim meet that she was so sad about leaving.  She loved swimming and she would have gone to state but we moved before she had the chance.
Dying after a race.
