Almost immediately after Elena and Isabel got home from FSY, they left again for our ward's High Adventure. The girls and boys went separately but met up for some activities. They all said they had blast, although they said it was ROASTING HOT and HUMID. I think they went to Missouri. Elena said they all just slept in their swimsuits.
Isabel didn't go to the mill because she was sick and went home early with Leo. The boys went caving.
I love that my kids get to do things together.
Oh, and Leo went with the boys! I love that his job allows him the flexibility to do more stuff like this now.
Elena and Isabel were significantly involved in convincing all the young women that going boating would be a blast. None of them had been boating like this before (with water skis, tubes, wakeboards, etc) except for Elena and Isabel. They said they really appreciated Uncle Jared afterwards because he knows how to drive a boat so well when pulling people. It was a new experience for the adults with them too.
Of course Sebastian caught a fish.
Sebastian also tried to catch a snake. Ugh. And Kyle and Sebas threw a fish at Kate.
Poor Isabel was sick and had a 102 temp by the time she was home. She barely managed not to throw up on her way home.
