On Saturday we decided to hit two places. This is the first: the Young Living Lavender Farm in Mona, UT--for their Lavender Harvest. It's an essential oils farm...yadda yadda, I didn't really care, I just wanted to see the fields of lavender. It was worth it. So beautiful.

I really hadn't expected to stay there long, it was free to go in but the information sheet never stated costs for any of the activities and I expected them to cost. And they did. Surprisingly though, they did have some neat free activities too.

But I was hoping they'd let you pick a little lavender for free. Sadly no, it's five dollars for a small bunch. Five dollars to make a little wreath. ($10 for a big one of either.)

But they did have this cool little western town that my kids loved and a play with Wyatt Earp! Sweet.

And a climbing wall for free. Ana was in heaven. She did good too.

Unfortunately the Fairy Tea Party in the gazebo was $5 per child. And the face painting, $2.

At least Leo had a little drink at the saloon. Hee. Hee.

Ana decided to dress up as a rodeo clown.

Paddle boat rides, not free. They had that western town and then in another part they had a medieval village. Random, eh? The grounds were all beautiful though. I loved their garden with all the herbs--it smelled heavenly. And they had neat things like lavender lemonade and lavender icecream at the concessions. And the port-a-potties, well, they smelled the best of any port-a-potty I have ever been in. Seriously.

Isabel loved that horse.

And Ana loved this Indian.

Elena looking cute!

Best of all, we kept our kids in Jail. They had a free wagon ride, but we didn't go on one. We wanted to go to our second destination for the day.
