Isabel was able to help unload food boxes at the local food pantry as a service project with the Activity Days girls.
Leo and I had to run errands one Saturday so we let the kids stay home and they made gingerbread men tree ornaments and dried orange slices and when we got home we decorated my Norfolk pine tree. We can't get to any of our Christmas storage totes except one--which luckily had our stockings, so we had almost no Christmas decorations to put up. But they did a great job making ornaments. Elena is a rock star helping the kids all day. Leo and I kind of feel like the kids have been abandoned the last two months, we were car hunting (yes, we got a new vehicle!!! YAY!!!) and every night practically we go work on things at our house. It's not been fun for anyone.
Efraim latched on to this Santa hat and when I told him his tie was a Santa tie one Sunday to try to get him to cooperate in getting dressed, he latched on to it too, and wore them both with whatever he was wearing for days.
Ah, the range hood. It's looking good, but that was just our sketch so to speak. Leo hates it now, because he's so sick of working on things in the house.
And this was Nicolas's Thanksgiving meal with his 1st grade class.
