Canoeing the Platte

Since Leo is gone Sunday night thru Friday night, we've been making sure we can just hang out and have fun with him on Saturday.  So the first Saturday back, we went and canoed the Platte up by Saratoga to Foote Landing. http://wyomingnaturalist.com/html/river/river_platte_interstate.html  It took several hours to only go  a few miles and we had a ton of fun, only a rain and lightening storm hit us just a half an hour into our trip so we beached our canoe and waited it out on shore.  The kids were all crying (except Elena) and Isabel said she was never going anywhere with us again.  But after the weather was perfect and they got over it.  The coolest part was when a bald eagle flew just 10 feet above our heads! The river was really pretty though, and when we got to Foote landing everyone caught crawfish while I went to get our van.  These pictures are all in order backwards.
