Day 6 and 7: The Mogollon Rim

Like I said, Monday we were supposed to be in Zion's.  But we couldn't drive anywhere that far, I suggested Tombstone but the kids went with Leo's idea of going to Payson, Arizona and renting a canoe.  Leo also wanted to rent OTVs.  Unfortunately none of that worked out.  When we got there on Monday, it was pouring rain.  We stayed the night at a hotel and got pizza.  Chad, my nephew, was with us. And luckily we all had a great time swimming.  The next day we went back to the lake, but again it started raining as soon as we got there, so we never did rent a canoe.  And the OTVS weren't allowed to be rented to under 18 and they didn't have anything like a side by side. Ruff.  We hiked around the lake a bit and then headed back to Phoenix.  We dropped off Chad and then spent the evening swimming at my in-laws.  One of the highlights of the trip for Sebastian occurred here though--we saw an osprey catch a fish out of the water.
