Why does my daughter that hated Hannah Montana and High School Musical and despised all things "popular" all of a sudden asking for skinny jeans and who's Lady GaGa???!?!?! Why??!??!?

- I am *hurray* a stay-at-home mom. I retired many years ago from a long,(4 yr) illustrious career in nursing *boo, hiss*. Most of all, I love Leo (mi papacito esposo de Colombia) and Ana, Elena, Isabel, Sebastian, Nicolas, Jubal, and Efraim (mis hijos). My other passion is also dark and rico and from South America--that would be chocolate. Basically I like to eat chocolate, eat chocolate icecream, eat frozen hot chocolates from Dairy Queen, eat Peppermint Yorks, Junior Mints, and of course dark chocolate truffles. Okay, now that I've wiped the slobber off my chin from thinking about all of that, I'll get on to the rest of my blog. Oh, and I'm trying to learn Spanish but spend too much time blogging here instead.

sadie likes Hannah montana, and High school musical, but wasn't too concerned about the jeans- until now. all she wants is skinny jeans. yuck. but no word on lady gaga. yet. thank goodness!

my girls love the skinny jeans too but they also love Hannah/Miley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, The soundtrack from Glee, twilight, mama mia...they can be found at almost any given moment up in their room singing their hearts out. It Starts at 8.... oh and i bought Lady GAGa..thinking she would be great to exercise too, and was slightly shocked when I figured out what one really cool song actually meant. OOPS...guess I need to make the girls a new cd cause I dont want them to take a ride ona disco ......yah...just figured that one out GROSS coming out of a 9 and 10 year olds mouth eh!
HAHAHA, well you know I am kind of young (j/k). I like only one song from Lady Gaga but the rest are sooo not good. She dresses weird and her music videos are not for kids! I had to watch several of this videos because the YW kept asking me if they were ok to watch which I had to say no to all of them! LOL, and skinny jeans is what is on style so I think is natural that she wants them but I wish there was some other styles, that one is not as flattering :)
