My 1870's Bonnet

I did manage to sew one thing in April before Costume College was cancelled, and then the ND State Fair was cancelled, and my 20th high school reunion was cancelled and our vacation to SD and ND was cancelled.  I'm not bitter. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how it turned out!



I used a Lynn McMasters pattern and a Timely Tresses hat kit.  Trimmed with an antique ostrich plume, antique real gold ribbon and flower.  Plus lots of silk and and other feathers. And some inspiration pictures.
