So these pictures are all backwards. Sorry. But here's the bit from my itinerary:

435-896-9233
- Explore Capitol Reef
Pioneer Register
Petroglyph Panel
Hickman Bridge
- Breakfast: Cold cereal in car
- Dinner: Tinfoil dinners & banana boats
We actually didn't go to the Hickman Bridge, Pioneer Register or Petroglyph Panel. We just didn't have enough time. We drove first to our campground (Leo's favorite of the entire trip) and then went back to Capitol Reef. We only spent about two hours total in Capitol Reef. I think a half a day to a day would have been perfect. It's beautiful and a couple of the small hikes would have been great for the kids. It also has a ton of old pioneer orchards and if we had come later in the year, you can pick fruit. That would have been nice. They would have had space for us to camp in the park, but we were too late for a reservation, and Leo and I didn't want to chance it, so we had already reserved a spot at Singletree. We did do the scenic drive and drove into the Grand Wash. And stopped at a couple of the view points. Sebastian caught a lizard and it was the first time in my life that I didn't burn the tinfoil dinners! Yay! Isn't our van and trailer spectacular?!??! Our friends lent it to us, and it worked great!
