My kids sang in church today and did a great job! They were not impressed by how much I made them practice though. And of course, Sebas had to use the bathroom and went just before they were supposed to sing so I had to go find him in the bathroom, meanwhile Elena and Isabel milled around a bit in the front of the chapel. Awesome. Also awesome was that Lando sang the whole song too--from our pew. My friend said it was like surround sound. Ha. Ha. And Elena was sliding around on her shoes and wobbling back and forth during our before church practice so I told her to take them off when she sang in church, which she didn't want to do because it would be embarrassing. But I pointed out that almost no one would see. Anyway, then the speaker after them told how the oldest girl was so comfortable singing that she took off her shoes. Elena was shooting death glare daggers at me. And after church told me very loudly that it was all my fault and then mumbled that she couldn't wait to move away. Sigh. Anyway, when it came to singing they sounded really good and Ana did a good job cuing them in.
Excuse the blurry pictures, my camera doesn't like indoor light, and I don't know how to fix it.
Lando made Jubal a lion and himself a tiger--you can't really see the black and orange stripes down his arms.
Life's been crazy and will continue at it's crazy pace for the next two weeks or two months. Not sure which yet. There's tons of stuff going on with the end of school, and then Elena and Isabel have some 4H things coming up, Ana has Girls' State, and then her wisdom teeth being removed, and I have a baby shower at my house this Friday and I found out today that I'm not going to be released as camp director. That's a little overwhelming. I was fine at first with my three callings, but then I came to expect being released from YW camp director (cause I was told I would be) and now it just all seems a bit daunting. I have Cub Scout Day camp in Laramie next weekend. We spent all Saturday working on building a deer fence and planting raspberries yesterday. Pictures to come. And I need to head to bed. I'm exhausted and my fingers and hands ache. Stupid carpal tunnel or arthritis (I'm not sure which). And none of this really made any sense--just there's multiple things on every evening and every weekend till the end of June. I have all day things to attend, or one or more of my kids have all day events (one day it's three different ones) each Saturday and then girl's camp is the very beginning of July. And Efraim's teething and fussy lately. Ah well, one day at a time. And then we're going to Canada!!! Yay for that!!!

Ana at State Soccer Championship
Ana went to the state soccer champion tournament in Sheridan last week. She was gone for 3 days. It's the first time their team has made it to state. They lost both their games, but on the plus side, last year they lost to Star Valley 13-0. This year they only lost 3-0. So improvement. I just stole all these photos off of Facebook. But Sheridan is beautiful. And she looked like she had tons of fun. A lot of these pictures aren't actually from that trip--two are from newspaper articles (those are the action shots of Ana up close.)
Guy Smiley and life
We only get glimpses of the sunset since our house faces East and the ridge is right behind us. But it looked pretty cool that day. I'd kind of hate to face west anyway, because then we'd be constantly getting the full force of Wyoming wind.
Jubal looking innocent. Don't believe it. Although I have to say that Jubal and Lando play together SOOOOOO well. All Lando and Sebastian do is bicker. Sigh.
Leo being AH-MAZING and making pancakes the night before so all I have to do is cook them in the morning. Then I can sleep longer. See, he is amazing.

Sebas doing dishes.
And Efraim and his constant smile!!!!! I love this kid sooooo much!!!!
It snowed and it was wet heavy spring snow (most the winter it's light and just blows and drifts, you can't make anything with it). Sebas was so excited he never even came in to take off his book bag.
Isabel thought she looked like a Roman girl.
And that's it. Only I've been so incredibly busy. I got put in a third calling, so YW camp director, Webelos leader, and now RS secretary. I spent a week straight just doing church callings--every day, all day. But now I think I'm caught up for a bit. I'm supposed to be released from YW camp director so that's good. But I finished our ward's camp flag, and we had a bi-ward dinner at our house so the girls could get their meal cooked for their requirements. We had delicious beef and cheese sandwiches grilled in the fire with sautéed onions and peppers on them, watermelon and a dutch oven dessert. I also hemmed two dresses for a wedding. That was brutal. I am not a professional seamstress at all. Remind me of that if anyone asks me to hem poly chiffon again and nasty knit chiffon type stuff.

Baby blessing and other
My parents came out for Efraim's baby blessing. They brought my sister Amy, her friend Dawn who grew up here, and Danica with them. We went to Ana's soccer game, and then Amy and Dawn left to go see some places Dawn wanted to go. We had a yummy dinner, and Danica and Mom got Ana ready for prom. And around 11 PM Megan, my sister, came with the rest of her kids except Myles. Megan's so funny, she was caravanning with some friends who live in Casper, and they kept texting her (after she got tired of following him and they started following her): "Wow! I've never seen anyone want to get to Rawlins so bad!!!" "91 mph seems slow now." (She had sped up to to 100 mph going down a hill). "Remind me never to get in your way when you want something. It's quite impressive." "75 mph, I think I could get out and run beside the car we're moving so slow." (She got stuck behind a semi there.)
Hee. Hee. Anyway, it was pretty funny. And so accurate.
They all came to church with us and then after dinner left to go home. I was so glad they came!!! I love living close to family. :)
This is actually the only photo I have of anyone else being there. Hello legs and Tristan.
Dad being dad.
Other things that happened-- Lando fell asleep under our sideboard. Doesn't look comfy. But super funny when we were all trying to find him.
And Lando is graduating from Project Reach preschool--he gets speech therapy there. He's so super cute!
And one week for FHE I made a Soda Fountain Ice Cream Pie. It had a sugar cone crust and malt powder mixed into the ice-cream, and a layer of crushed strawberries. YUM!
