December Church Things

A girl being taught by the missionaries was baptized.
And the youth sang at it.
Temple visits!!!  I think they went with the youth from church on this occasion.

I helped in the kitchen on the night of the ward Christmas party.  Ham and plum sauce is traditional here, among other things.
All the primary kids got a gift from Santa Claus.
For decorations for the ward Christmas party, they YM made candle holders.  I think just battery operated little candles were in them from Dollarcity.

They always posted photos of the activities on WhatsApp.

I think it was the girl's birthday, so another photo.
And another birthday photo.

The YM went to the mall for one of their activities and got to play on all the arcade games.

Sebastian said he had a lot of fun.
Aww, Obispo Camargo was the best!
This is making me sad, I miss so many of the people in these photos.
Another baptism!!

There must have been a broadcast.
I don't know what this was.

And the YW went out for ice cream.

The previous bishop was released just a little bit after we moved in.  They made him some thank you cards and treat.

The stake had a huge service day.  I didn't go because I didn't want to try to watch Jubal and Efraim and Nicolas and figure out Spanish.  My brain was pretty fried at this point.  But Elena and Isabel helped put on puppet shows for kids with cancer.  They had a whole big thing for them, with all the different wards doing something.

Like making balloon things.

And manicures.

And donating food.  I did donate food too,

And then Santa came too.

It was pretty special that the kids got to help with it.  They didn't speak Spanish at this point that, so everything is always so tiring--like your brain is tired.
