The rest of the gardens were huge with a bunch of different sections.
This part was cool and one of my favorite parts.
Then there was deserty section.

Efraim was thrilled to catch a butterfly. Not this one, but a different one. He's like a butterfly whisperer.
And then there was a huge food garden. That was really neat too, I liked it because most botanical gardens I've been to ignore that, and I loved seeing how they designed it and made it practical too.

The boys immediately started building things with leaves are rocks even though I tried fruitlessly to dissuade it. Weird fuzzy purple plant. It looked like velvet.

This is my favorite tree in Colombia. It looks like a Dr. Seuss tree.
