Elena turned 14!!!! Craziness!!!! She picked delicious steak for dinner. And we had pumpkin soup and broccoli and roasted potatoes too. She got makeup for her birthday, as per tradition. But she's been looking way too grown up wearing since then. Also she thinks she's a teenager or something because she's never home!!! She has early morning choir and then did cross country and now basketball this fall. She's so dedicated about getting good grades and practicing Spanish, piano, and violin that she never has down time. It's crazy busy. But she's happy so that's good. We're super impressed with her responsibility. Happy birthday Elena!!!
