Hiking the Hill Behind Us

We hiked the hill behind our house one Sunday.  We *may* have passed a no trespassing sign.  Pretty view from the top though.

 

End of School!

After Efraim's preschool grad, we had Sebastian's 5th grade walk thing for leaving elementary school.

I love Mrs. Holt.  She was Isabel's teacher last year and she is awesome!

They collected can tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald house.

Jubal and Kindergarten

Kindergarten graduation!!! Mr Weiss is seriously the best teacher ever, by the way.  Right after Elena and Isabel's Award ceremony, we went to the elementary school for Jubal's kindergarten grad. And following though pictures are just random kindergarten pics.

Grandma stayed after Elena and Isabel's award ceremony.

Elena and Isabel Awards Ceremony

Leo and I and my Mom were invited to attend the 8th grade award ceremony because Elena received one of the most prestigious awards--the Star award.  We even went up on stage with her.  I might be biased, but I think she totally deserved that award.  She is amazing and always tries so hard to be kind to everyone.  

Her and Isabel got a bunch of other awards too--top Wytopp scores, Presidential Academic Award, etc.  I don't remember them all🤷‍♀️

End of School Concerts

Here's a ton of end of school concerts including Elena and Isabel's string concerts and Elena's Memorial Day Choir Concert, and Piano recital songs. We had the piano recital on our piano teacher's front lawn d/t Covid and could barely hear the kids. So I filmed them later. The day of Elena's and Isabel's strings concert I was working so I paid Lynnaea to come drive them and videotape them.

 

This was at the piano recital.  I was back and forth driving kids to soccer throughout.  But they had the brilliant idea to cook s'mores.  So cute.  

This was Elena's Talent Show song. I wasn't able to go watch her perform, and this was filmed weeks after so she was mad because it wasn't her best. Still beautiful though! Isabel's piano recital song--weeks later. Elena's Piano recital song weeks later. Sebastian's piano recital song ditto. Nicolas's Piano Recital Song Jubal wanted to join in. So did Efraim.

Track and Dance

Elena performed with her 8th grade Spanish class in several dance performances.  They were actually really good, I was very impressed.  Jubal and Efraim went and watched one with me and they were enthralled.  Elena also ran track.  Crazy busy girl!
