We went to the Fort Bridger Rendezvous last Labor Day weekend. Honestly, I go so I can dress up my kids and myself. My kids go so they can play in the creek and Leo just tolerates it. My nieces and nephew came with us this year. We had so much fun. We got there just in time for the kids' games. Lots of races, tug-o-war, frying pan throwing contest, etc. Then we played in the creek and went to all the traders tents and and the kids bought a few things. Sebastian wanted to buy a $30 10 in. knife, but the guy talked him down to a smaller, less sharp one. We lost Lando twice. Oops. He's a little mulish, so if he's mad, he'll just stay quiet and then not come with us when we think everyone is rounded up and walking on. Awesome. And we lost Devaney and Sebastian--Anders lost his knife and they went to go look for it. I can't wait to go again next year; we didn't even realize there was an old fort till after it was closed. And the museum we only looked through a part because that's one of the times Lando went missing. And I want to go to the Trapper's Ball.
I met up with my college roommate, Jennae Blood. We probably bored her to tears just trying to keep track of our children.
The candy canons.
We had to take a picture with a mountain man.
Never too many photos of Efraim or Leo!
