We went to the Alberta Birds of Prey Center on Wednesday afternoon. I thought the boys would love it but actually, everyone had a great time and Elena and Isabel loved it too! Score. 
We fed the ducks and Efraim was terrified whenever they came towards him.
This was a juvenile bald eagle--so no white head yet--he was being uncooperative and kept running to the other perch instead of flying, which looked hysterical. They use more energy flying than running though. Weird, eh?
And then we all got to hold owls. Definitely a highlight.
All the kids got to shower the juvenile bald eagle too. 
I ran back for a picture of the adult bald eagle flying.
