Montana Party

On Sunday evening we drove to Montana--luckily we got through the border no problem because we forgot Elena's birth certificate.  We actually had a friend break into our house, open our gun safe and overnight her birth certificate to us, and it got to my brother's house...two weeks after we left.  Yep.  That was a waste.  But the border guard basically just waved us through.  Anyway, so then we hung out at Wyatt's house for three fabulous days!  The kids had so much fun.  They swam in their pond, rode the zipline, and Sebas and Jack caught crawfish all day.  Elena, Hailey, Isabel and Cassidy went to the Montana State Fair with some friends of Hailey's, and to a stake waterpark activity too.  We watched some good movies, ate delicious steak, and really just had a good time.

We found Sadie and Efraim eating dog treats. Yum.

Not a good sunblock application.

Efraim was terrified of Cassidy's Newfoundland puppy Tiberius.  That puppy is huge.

Efraim did NOT want to let us take off his harness.  He LOVED ziplining.  Jubal was terrified though and wouldn't even try.

Saturday

On Saturday we went to Magrath to the parade.  And then we went to an extended Rasmussen reunion for lunch and then to Stirling for just a Rasmussen reunion with my first cousins.  I loved that.  So fun.

This was the Rasmussen float that my Dad was on with his cousins.

My cousin Tyler and me.  He was one of my best friends growing up.

Saskatoons--yum!

Leo took off from Stirling and went swimming with the kids in Taber.  I stayed and talked with my cousins.

Then Jason and Joanne gave me a ride home,  and I went over to Leif and Helen's (Brooke's parents) and ate their delicious homemade fries and gravy and left over beef from Tyson's wedding.   SO delicious!  Poutine is so good.  It was fabulous day!
