Boat Day at the Ice Pond

One day early in the month it was free boat day at the Ice Pond.  The Primary piggy-backed on that and held a primary activity there as well.  We went around the pond in a pedal boat and NEVER AGAIN.  Those boats are awful. It was hot and I was doing ALL the pedaling and it was so slow.  Give me a canoe any day.  Anyway, the kids whined a lot it was hot and when will we get off and then they whined when I wouldn't take them again.  Sigh.  Elena got to take a kayak by herself because she's 12. And there was much whining by those wishing to go on their own too.  And Isabel went with her friend and friend's mother in a canoe.
