Friday Night Fun

I forgot to mention that on Friday night, Leo and I went on another date with my sister Andrea and her husband Tim. We went to Lagoon again with the bounce-back promotion. It was awesome. We went on all the big rides, although we missed the old 1920's roller coaster which is freaky because I always think it's going to fall apart under me.

I do have to admit that on Wicked I closed my eyes till we were past that big drop. After that it was really fun.

But as always, the best ride at Lagoon is the Tidal Wave. It's classic. What else need I say?Well, maybe that we went on it three times in a row at the end just before the park closed and we were yelling like maniacs in competition with a bunch of 13 yr old boys across from us, and that Leo yelled like Tarzan and Tim yelled doing that Arab tongue thing, and well, it was pretty hilarious. On the last time, we sat with those boys and one shouted out, "YES!! We have Tarzan!!!" Needless to say we were laughing hysterically. Good times.

Saturday Night Disappointment

Leo and I went to the Real Salt Lake game on Saturday against Columbus Crew. It was terrible, Columbus Crew scored two goals on Real in the first 10 minutes and that was pretty much the game. Sniff. Sniff. Not only that, but Real played awful the first half, like they were already kicked. The second half they rallied and that was better. I definitely need to go to another game, so I can watch them win next time. :)

But oh well, the reason we went was because I needed a cultural experience for my Spanish class. And sitting with the Barra Real counted as a cultural experience. Sah-weet!
It was not as noisy or boisterous as normal due to the awful game, but the band still played the whole time. Maybe baseball would be more exciting if they had a band play with a trumpet the whole time. Probably not though.

It was fun. And probably for the best that I didn't end up having a hoarse voice from shouting "¡Olé, Olé, Olé! the whole time because they stunk so there was no need to shout.
Just kidding, I wish I had had a hoarse voice and that Real Salt had won. Real Salt Lake till Death! (As many of the shirts said. Hee. Hee.)

And last of all, Lagoon

We stayed till it closed, but this little guy collapsed soon after this picture was taken and slept the rest of the night.
Elena was going strong though.
She went on this ride with Leo and loved it!

Elena loved all the rides, but Isabel was not so enthusiastic. Ana we hardly saw as she was off with her cousins. Good times.
