Summer Labs

The kids all got these lab books for Easter (except Ana--she got a cook book) and my plan was to do one with them a day during the summer.  So far we've done two.  (Yes, I'm hanging my head in shame.)  But we are moving and that made making our house ready to sell top priority.  Anyway we made metamorphic rocks out of chocolate bark (white and brown) and that was awesome.  But I have no pictures.  And then the other one we did was looking at Jackson Pollack paintings and then doing some string paintings out on the lawn.  We had a good time.  And Jubal is so funny.  He tried it for about two seconds and then came back with a huge paintbrush.

Sebastian, of course, stayed out there the longest.
