Once we decided on moving, we tried to make the most of the time we still had in Wichita. Nicolas's best friend Ian G., (whose mom is MY good friend) decided to move to Idaho about the same time we decided to move. So these two wanted to spend as much time together as possible. And they had changed the exhibit at the Exploration Place and we had never used our free passes as part of membership, so Kyle and Ian came too.
The river looked really pretty that day despite the trash in it. We had brought lunches and had picnic after in the park.
Medic helicopter. Pretty sure Kyle's and Sebastian's patient died.
Jubal only wanted to be a pilot and begged to take me for a ride. How could I refuse?
We went to the show (that's a guy in a dinosaur costume), and Kyle was a "helper" in the show. I think it was Kyle anyway. What I DO remember is that Kyle was being super silly and had all of us cracking up during the whole show. And then he wanted pictures with the dinosaur guy after and tried to convince them that they should sell a shirt with the Dino guy's face on it. The whole thing was just hilarious.
The Exploration Place has a huge permanent section all about airplanes, because Wichita is Air Capitol of the World (even though no one else knows that), and so this is Efraim on one of the simulators.

The traveling exhibit was a dinosaur one. The kids liked being eaten, but weren't really fans of the rest of it.
