Reface for Fun

New Year means new bodies, right.  We skipped the exercise and just digitally transformed ourselves.  The results were mixed.  I think I didn't catch my chin in my original picture and that changes the shape of my face.  Nobody thinks I look like the ones I did of myself.  I was wearing heavy eye makeup that day too, so maybe that played into it?  Anyway, still fun.

Elena looks like a little kid in this photo playing dress up.
This one was great though!
Isabel hated hers.  But I think she looks fabulous with her fancy fur coat.
The program blows up your face a bit so it's not really in proportion to the head anymore.  But still, it's pretty fun tech.
I love this one of Isabel!
Here's me, Isabel, and Elena. 😂😂
And my and Elena in the 80's!

More of me.  Yep, I would never look at these and say, oh that's me.

Elena in the 90's rocking the business look.
I like this one too.
I think this actually kind of looks like me.  Just I have a longer chin.  Maybe it was just the out of proportion thing messing it up.
I love this one!!  The hair!

❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️. I need to make Edwardian dresses for my girls ASAP.

This is my favorite of Isabel!!!
And one of my favorites of Elena.  It's amazing the time you can waste doing these.
I like this of Isabel too.  Anyway, so much fun!

Linoleum Block Printing for the Win

Christmas crafts are overrated.  We made linoleum block prints.  I've wanted to do that with the kids for ages (since Rawlins) but I had tried with stupid foam before and that did not work well, so I bit the bullet and bought the real thing.  It was super fun and I LOVE how they look.  One of my favorite art mediums.

This was Jubal's "Wolf in Blue".

Nicolas's "Aang Under Pressure."
This is Sebastian's landscape, "Dunes of Despair."
Elena is cute!
Sebastian's "Isla Tortugas."
Isabel's "Phoenix Rising" and "Flowers of Death."

Efraim's "Mushroom Paradise".

Elena's "Study of Foxes."

Nicolas's "The Peaks."

Isabel's "Girl at Dock."

Exploration Place or Best Museum Ever

Elena was working at Urban Air, but she was not a fan, so she quit the end of December.  We took advantage of her employee discount and went once for free.

We also went to the Exploration Place, which I know I've said before, but it's by far my favorite children's science museum.  They had a really fun winter game part this time.  The kids loved it.

It was cool how it was interactive against a huge wall.
And a random lady was laughing so hard and my kids' antics in the snow globe.  Everyone before them was smiling all cute, and then they came up and acted like they were trapped.  😂
Sock ice skating.
An emotional roller coaster.  Literally.
Medic helicopter.

Why do kids like Thomas the Train?  ugh.
