Off to Utah!

Backwards pictures again.  We abandoned Leo and headed to Utah on the 26th of June to go to the Rasmussen Reunion and just hang out with family and avoid the Kansas summer heat.  All of our misery of living in Kansas was very much apparent when we stayed in Utah for almost a month.  Anyway, Efraim and Navy were besties that summer and were so cute together!

Had to go kayaking in the marina by Kayli's house first thing.

I made the trip in two days and spent the first night in Cheyenne at Little America.  We exceeded the max number of people for a room, but hey, when you can sleep 4 to a bed, it makes little sense to pay for more. Also, just before the trip, Jubal lost his new Keen sandals, so I took him to the Sierra Trading store in Cheyenne and got him an inexpensive pair of water sandals, which he broke within 10 mins heading down the highway.  So then I ended up buying full price Keen sandals again in Ogden, which again were lost later that summer.  Sigh.

Awww, I LOVE this.  

In Nebraska (somewhere) we stopped for a bathroom break Fort Cody Trading Post.  It was really fun.  Highly recommend for a long bathroom break.  Of course later in Wyoming, we had to stop at Little America near Green River for ice cream cones.  That really is the best stop because the restrooms are so nice.

They had this animatronics type thing of Buffalo Bill's Wild West show.   Efraim loved it.

Good times.  The trip overall went well, as far as I can remember a year and a half later.  I think we listened to a book most of the way.  Though I can't remember which one.
