Snow Day!

 

We brought the snow with us from Wyoming.  Wichita had more snow days that winter than they had had for a long time. Each time it was barely an inch or two. Efraim still made a snowman though.  And my kids complained bitterly that I had given away our sleds and snowboards.  I don't know that the 12 hours of snow was worth keeping them.  

I started plants in my Christmas present!

We spent the snow day making gingerbread houses that I bought after Christmas for $1 a piece.  

So cute!

Everyone had a great time.

Except poor Elena had the broken one.

Watching Smaug eat in slow motion is quite hilarious.
