Leaving Evanston

The packers came and moved everything in about two days flat.
Then Megan and Jared and Amy came and helped me clean the house.  It was sparkling when we left. It was so so nice of them and I definitely needed the help!!!

I had to stop in the middle to run to the kids' elementary Halloween parade.

Chris Weiss, Nicolas's and Jubal's kindergarten teacher, sent me this picture of him and Nicolas.  Two baldies.  He was seriously the best teacher ever!
Then we went to Megan and Jared's for the night.  Jared took his kids and my kids trick-o-treating, and then Megan had a gift for all of them.  Anders and Jubal are best buddies, so I guess Anders really wanted to give him a going away present.  So then all the kids got one.  It was so kind of them!

Our trailer was loaded so heavy, I was a little worried about our tires being blown. That unfortunately was not what I needed to be worried about.
We left the next morning but had to stop in Rock Springs to see Ana!!!  It was awesome!!

Awww, so sad to leave her.
Then we hit nasty fog going over the mountains from Laramie to Cheyenne.
It was awful.
But not as awful as later in Nebraska when I was planning on stopping in Sidney NE for the night and just before that, I was distracted by a text from Leo and swerved off the road, wrecked our trailer, had to be towed back to Kimball and spent the night there.  It thoroughly scared my children and Jubal included in every prayer for the next 3 months to "please bless us that we won't go off the road."  Yeah, so not cool.  Luckily the car only had minimum damage, and the tow place rented me a UHaul, helped me transfer all our stuff, and junked our old trailer for me.  This was near where we went off the road.  I was so lucky there was nothing on the side of the road and it wasn't a steep bank, just relatively flat.  Thankfully, we made it the rest of the way to Wichita just fine.
So shout out to Schadegg Motors and Towing because they were awesome.  Also the cop that came that night was really nice, which I really appreciated so, so much.  Thank heavens for kind people.
