A month or more of phone photos here.  Some of these were in April.

My friend Jessica and I trade babysitting quite a bit.  Her little girl Megan is adorable! And she loves Jubal.  She brought her chair over and just sat by Jubal for the longest time.



And then Jubal came.

Ana's Junior Prom

Ana had junior prom last weekend and luckily Mom and Danica were here to force her to actually do her hair nice and put on makeup.  She wasn't very excited to go--she was sunburnt and got a bit of a headache at her soccer game earlier that day.  Mostly, she didn't want to go with her date.  She was mad to find out that you actually have to go out to dinner in your dress, (and not sweatpants?!)  and anyway, because it was Mom and Danica they were able to get her to let them do her hair and makeup and take lots of pictures.  And then she went and had much more fun than she thought she would, but she still came home early because she had a headache, although she immediately left again with Tristan and Danica.    :)   Anyway, I'm glad it went better than expected.

This was Ana's dress pre-alterations.  The sleeves were funky.  She got it at the DI.  And my phone camera stinks. And it took a lot of hours handsewing while it was on my dressform to alter it--luckily my one and only dress form that is not adjustable, is pretty much Ana's size, otherwise it wouldn't have worked at all.  Anyway, I don't really know what Ana had envisioned for it, or even if she was happy with the results because she never really said.

Ana and Soccer

Ana's soccer team is going to state!!! Yay!!  They won their last two games--one we went to the weekend before with my parents, my sister Amy and Danica my niece.  The action shots are from that game.  The other pictures are from a Facebook post of some random guy because Ana doesn't actually share any photos/info etc. with me.  Yay.  But I am excited for her to go. It's the first time ever that the Outlaws have made it to state. Actually, she did tell me about how their bus was escorted out of town by the police and fire trucks. I love small towns. :) I do have other things to post, but unfortunately I set my camera up wrong (I was trying to set it to burst shooting at Ana's game and then messed up the camera for the whole weekend) and so hopefully Mom will send me pictures soon of Ana's prom, and of Efraim's baby blessing.  

The Long Awaited Quilts!!

After 5 years, I finally finished the girls' quilts.  One is atrociously lop-sided, like 5 inches lop-sided, but they are done!!  And I love them! And I quickly made some pillow covers to go with their beds--I'd been given the pillows way back in Houston too, and always planned to do them.  Just not in one night.  Glad they're done though. Yay!!!
