Fall Break at SeaQuest

During Fall Break we had planned on maybe meeting up with Leo's brother Alex's family, but that didn't work out and Leo had a lot of work going on so instead I decided to take the kids some place fun on my own.  And Seaquest was perfect!!!  They ALL loved it.  And Groupons are great. 😏.

Jubal feeding the turtle.  Isabel tried to help him and then I ended up feeding the turtle because Jubal was a little nervous to get the lettuce up to him.

The employees were so nice and good with the kids.  I love Utah!!

Petting sting rays.

And this felt so funny having the fish nibble on your hands--eating off dead skin cells.

A sloth.

Sebas and Nicolas chose to spend their tokens feeding an alligator.
Elena and Isabel spent their tokens to go in and pet the Bengal cats.

Efraim fed the fish and it was crazy feeding frenzy!!

Then we all used tokens to be able to feed the birds.  It was so FUN!!  I actually really enjoyed it.  There were birds just covering us.  But by the time I could manage to take pictures  a lot had left already.
Efraim and Jubal both dropped their seed immediately--it scared them a bit too much.

And then we used the last of the tokens to feed the iguanas.

Sebas and Nicolas also bought dead chunks of fish to feed the sharks.  I think because of fall break and the high number of people there, the sharks were pretty full and wouldn't come for a long time.

And last but not least--bunnies!

Side Trip to Hill Air Force Base Museum

I needed to kill some time after going to a leather store and before the aquarium opened, so we stopped by Hill Air Force Base Museum.  Isabel and Elena didn't even get out of the car.  But the boys loved it for the 15 minutes we were there.  Planes make for some cool pictures I think. And we need to go back when we can spend more time and Leo can come.

The Uintas in the Fall

Conference weekend, we decided to go to the Uintas and have sandwiches and enjoy the beautiful fall colors.  We were about a week and half too late as most the trees were bare, but it was lovely nonetheless.  It was a struggle keeping track of that many little kids but we had a good time.  Ana drove her car up too because we had too many to fit in our vehicle, and then she got a flat tire.  But she had a good time taking pictures of Elena after dolling her up beforehand.  Autumn is more and more winning me over--summer and spring have always been my favorite seasons, but this warm autumn has been so beautiful.

Christmas meadows!

Sebastian doing what he always does--catching crawfish.
