Mother's Day Late

I think I was cleaning up my room and I'm not super sentimental but I loved these Mother's Day cards so I snapped some photos before throwing them away.  I love how one of the kids knew I love shopping on Sierra.com.  😂😂😂😂. And apparently that I write essays (I think just because I proofread the older kids' essays and papers.)

And I'll just add Isabel because she's cute and she helped me plant my garden that spring.

And the milkweed she planted grew!!!  Yay!!

Springtime!

I love storm clouds!! There was a tornado on the other side of Wichita that evening, which is sad for the homes and YMCA that were torn up.  But man I love that sky!
We got a volleyball/badminton set. So much fun!

And one of the few rainstorms we've had since living here.  I thought it would be like Minot with  thunderstorms all through the summer.  Unfortunately that is not the case.
Still, it was awesome.

There was a double rainbow there but it didn't capture well in the photo.
Jubal made this for me on my closet door for Mother's Day.  I LOVE it. And I've left it up permanently.
What a cutie.
What a weirdie.
Preschool grad!  That I missed.  Oops.  I can't remember why.
I did volunteer all day at the elementary's field day.  I lost my voice cheering for all the kids running, but it was rather dull with no one cheering.

And our neighbor hosts a movie night once a month during the summer.  So sweet!  Julie is super kind and tries hard to be welcoming.  It is the friendliest neighborhood I've ever loved in and 80% of that is due to Julie inviting everyone out.

Then we watch a movie on the side of their house. Good times!

Prairie Pawnee Park

One Sunday afternoon I made the kids walk with me to Prairie Pawnee Park.  It's was so pretty in the spring.  It's fairly far to walk there from our house, but then we hiked through it to the park area and Leo came and picked us up.  We also picked up 4 or so ticks who came along for the ride as well. 🤮
So different from Wyoming!
I love the blue and green contrast!
Sebas never can take a picture normally. 😂

Oh, never mind, I guess he can.
Efraim rode his bike and had a blast on the trails...until he didn't and then I carried it.

😍

I don't know why the eye is there.
Do you see the deer? There was a doe and her fawn.

And mushrooms.  Don't know why, but there they are. Anyways, good times.  I should drag my kids on walks more often.
