Christmas Day 2021

It's Christmas!!!  YAY!!!

And Christmas fondue!!  YUMMMY!

The kids all got a sleeping bag and sleeping pad and travel pillow (canoe camping here we come!)

I got a shelf to start seedlings on in the laundry room.  Love it!

This is the aftermath.   This is all rather backwards.

Leo got a pellet smoker.  I bought it in Utah from a BYU student who had won it.  I managed to keep it hidden through most of the move even.  

Canoe camping!!!  This was a family gift.

And yes the kids all got tents as a family gift.

All the kids got hot chocolate and a mug this year too.  

Leo and I got a new shared sleeping bag.  

I had Elena's name and bought her a dress.

Jubal loves his new utility knife from Nicolas.

And Efraim loved his bubble machine from Jubal!

Christmas Eve 2021

I love Christmas!!!  It was a delicious Christmas Eve as always.

In all my buying for the house, I also bought a new Christmas pyramid carousel since our last one had been broken.  I also bought some new-to-me pieces to my nativity.  Buying things is a very poor coping mechanism with negative outcomes, but unfortunately an effective one. Anyway, I LOVE these carousels and so do my kids.

The kids didn't get pjs this year, instead they got neck pillows.  So comfy, they immediately fell asleep.

They also got to open their sleeping bags early so they could sleep in them in the basement.

The Hughes gave us an awesome escape room advent calendar.  My kids loved it!!   

We didn't set up two Christmas trees this year.  Just one downstairs that we moved upstairs on Christmas.

We went to the temple again and stayed with our friends the Bodines. 

I got a new wallet for my 40th birthday!  I love it.

Elena had her orchestra concert.  She's so beautiful!
